Registration Policy Change for All Students Matriculating to Middle or High School
Dear Parents of Students in Grades 5 or 8:
Do you have a student enrolling in middle or high school next year? Congratulations! Recent policy changes require you to re-register your child at his/her new school before being able to attend. The re-registration process is outlined in the steps below.
1. Gather proof of residence documents: (one document is required from each column.)

Mortgage commitment e. Home purchase contract including specified closing date, with copy of deed to be provided within 60 days of closing date f. Homestead exemption card |

4. Take all documents to your boundary or district reassigned middle or high school during registration hours.
If you cannot prove that you live within a school’s boundary area or your child has not been reassigned to the school through the Innovative Programs (Magnet) or Reasssignment Process, your child must attend his/her boundary school.
For questions concerning reassignments, please contact the Demographics & Student Assignments Department at 754-321-2480. Reassignments to schools with available reassignment seats can be applied for during the annual reassignment application window, which runs from May 1–June 15.

The No Child Left Behind federal legislation and Florida statute require that schools provide parents an annual school status report at the beginning of each school year. The Florida Department of Education has produced a No Child Left Behind/School Public Accountability Report (NCLB/SPAR) for each school containing all the required No Child Left Behind indicators, including the indicators for Annual Measurable Objectives (AMOs). New Website Initiative
Welcome to the 2010 -2011 school year and our new website! Broward Schools has developed a new initiative which provides all schools in Broward County with great websites - at no out-of-pocket cost to the school. One of the goals of this initiative is to enhance communication between us. Our school is so proud to be able to participate.
In a few months, our website will have advertising and this advertising will (1) fund the cost of the website and (2) a percentage of profits generated will be shared back to our school. Therefore, please use our website and check back here often as your participation will help us generate income!
