Cafeteria Year-End Procedures:
Parents of students attending Riverland Elementary School
In order to ensure that all checks received for payment of student meals have adequate time to be
processed by the bank prior to the end of the 2011-2012 school year, checks will no longer be
accepted as payment for meal services after Friday, May 11, 2012.
Effective May 14, 2012, Food and Nutrition Services cannot accept checks as payment for
student meals for the remainder of this school year.

Eighteenth Annual Parent Survey
Surveys will be administered online beginning February 6, 2012 through April 6, 2012.
All surveys will be available online through Virtual Counselor (https://www.browardschools.com/virtualcounselor) for all students, instructional staff/teachers, and parents who wish to participate.

New Website Initiative
Welcome to the 2010 -2011 school year and our new website! Broward Schools has developed a new initiative which provides all schools in Broward County with great websites - at no out-of-pocket cost to the school. One of the goals of this initiative is to enhance communication between us. Our school is so proud to be able to participate.
In a few months, our website will have advertising and this advertising will (1) fund the cost of the website and (2) a percentage of profits generated will be shared back to our school. Therefore, please use our website and check back here often as your participation will help us generate income!
